Today, that’s what we are going to talk about. Instead of talking about product testing, we are going to talk about Nike product testing.
We know most of our audience loves sneakers and Nike’s a great product and if you could get a new pair of Nike shoes for FREE every few months, who wouldn’t be happy? Am I right?
If you are an avid Nike lover who buys Nike products on the regular, you are going to want to listen up to what we have to say because this can and WILL save you so much money in a short amount of time.
How Does Product Testing Work?
Before we can get into the nitty gritty of it all, you need to completely understand how product testing work does before you can jump into doing this gig.
When it comes to product testing you will see that there are two types of testers.
The first tester is people who work out of the office. While the second time is people who are working in the office.
The people who are working out of the office as product testers are known as remote workers. These workers went through an online application process and they were approved. Once they were approved, they were sent these products in the mail.
They could test these products on their own time. Along with testing these products, they will have to complete surveys. These surveys are typically sent along with the product. This is where they can state their opinions and detail their experiences with the product at hand.

This process is very similar to a focus group.
In office workers are also known as on-site workers. These are people who will have to go down to the testing lab to test out these products on hand.
Nike has many testing labs, so you will get to go to the testing lab that is close to your location, but the entire process is just like the remote workers.
You will get a free product, you will get a survey to take, and you will need to fill out it out with your honest opinions.
How Do I Start Nike Product Testing?
Before you want to do anything or read anything further in this post, you need to go over to producttesting.nike.com.
First thing is first, you will need to agree to a waiver, before you will be allowed to move on to the next step.
After that is complete, they will then follow up by asking for your contact info along with your favorite sports activities and your body measurements.
Once, you complete those sections, you will move on to your clothes shopping habits alongside what is your sizes, what styles do you prefer, and what preference you have when it comes to sports clothing.
To be frank, they are collecting a lot of demographic information to see if you are a good candidate for a product tester or if you won’t be.
Since Nike is an apparel company, they are wanting to know everything about you in the clothing department all the way down to how you pick out clothes and to what size you wear.
For instance, if they are looking for a football boot tester and you don’t play football, you wouldn’t be a good candidate, so they would pick you for that product testing.
What Measurements are They Looking for Exactly?
For Nike, since they are an apparel company, they will be looking for the following five measurements.

Head to Foot
They will be looking for your head to foot height. This is where you will have to stand on one end of a tape measure and pull the tape measure up to your head. They want this as accurate as possible. It will be best to have another person measure you.
They will want you to measure your entire chest in the widest area possible. This typically means you will be placing the tape measure around your chest muscles and using that as your measurement.
This is for the ladies only. You will need to measure your bust size. You can do so by placing the tape measure directly under your breasts to measure them from there.
They want the measurements of the narrow area of your waist. This is typically near your belly button.
Your hips don’t lie and neither does the tape measure. You will need to measure around your pelvis.
Keep in mind that it takes anywhere from 3 to 4 weeks for the application to process and for you to hear back.
Is Free Nike Samples the Compensation?
As you’ve probably already guessed that yes free Nike samples is the compensation here for this product testing.
There is no cash involved. You will only get free shoes and athletic clothes from Nike. However, you will want to keep in mind that there will be some cases that they are looking for you to use this product for a certain time length. When that time length is up, they will require you to send it back to their lab, so they can test it to see what they can improve or how it held up.
However, there are other times that you will not have to send anything back to the lab and you will be able to keep the product with you until you get rid of it.
Either way, it is still a great opportunity as you can get free stuff and you can help companies further develop their products.
